I booked it many times and recommend. Loved spending my time in this clean hip new hotel.- The breakfast meal was perfect with foods to eat.- The location was magnificent, not very far from an archeological museum.

Cozy rooms that have been recently revamped, complete with super comfy beds, a mini-fridge, coffee/tea makers, and a safe. Perfect spot close to the historic area and all the cool sights around 🌟.

A lovely way to end my trip. Tidy and unique place, delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The location unbeatable and stunning to the surrounding area. And next to the centre of Freiburg and the train station and center.

Friendly helpful staff. Welcomed with a cup of coffee arriving on a wet day. Beautifully appointed city hotel with interesting history. Room superbly comfortable, warm, quiet. Nice view over the Colombi park, a very short walk to Hauptbahnhoff and the city. Only there one night (unfortunately) but able to walk around the city centre & do the restaurants. Info & map given without asking on arrival so able to do this in half a day. Very romantic. It was a really wonderful way to end a Deutschland trip (if you don't mind the price!). Thankyou to the staff, it was a very special stay.

Breakfast supposed to be included but it was added to the bill (When I checked later!) Never mind, it was still worth it, it really is a lovely hotel.

We really liked the hotel atmosphere. It is so refreshing to find a hotel that doesn't charge for absolutely everything, examples being the free bicycle loan, the offer of free public transport tickets, the plentiful free fruit, snacks, water and orange juice. And of course the freindly staff with their personal interest in our comfort and well-being. Well done Park Hotel Post!

This place has a great location, just a short walk from the cathedral and close to the city center, with super-friendly and accommodating staff and a modern double room.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was really polite and the views over the park were pleasant. Our king room was contemporary and newly remodeled, with coffee and tea making equipment and climate control. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The daily service was really great. We didn't mind paying extra for parking.

The room had a separate bathroom and was beautifully themed, and the hotel's location was convenient, near vineyards and restaurants.

The twin room is themed and recently refurbished. It offers very good services. We like that there is free Wi-Fi in the rooms.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by two very friendly receptionists. They offered us a complimentary welcome drink, which was just what we needed after a long drive. They asked whether there was anything in particular we would like to see or do in Freiburg. When we told them we had heard about the 'Kartoffelhaus' restaurant (Potato House) and would love to go, they organised everything for us. Booked us a table, gave us a little map with walking directions, and tram numbers if we felt lazy! We checked in, the room was lovely, bed was comfy, bathroom clean and modern, fully stocked minibar (dangerous!). You could see the cathedral from our room, but the room was so quiet you could sleep through the day. The hotel also has bicycles that they let you use, free of charge, to see the city a bit quicker! In the morning, breakfast was your typical european style deal, which i'm never too fussed about anyway, but it was good. Coffee was good too! We squared up, and the once again smiling staff gave us two bottles of water for the journey! You couldn't ask for much more from a hotel and its staff. We will definately be staying here the next time we're in Town!!

Everything is what i need and want.

The hotel has an excellent location. It is situated about 300 metres from the train station and is very close to the shopping district. It has a park next to it which gives a feeling of tranquility.

Although I found the hotel to be excellent, there were three areas where I feel improvement could be made: 1) The WiFi coverage was intermittent; 2) While there were 39 TV channels, all of excellent broadcast quality, only two were not in the German language. There was one channel in French and the only English language channel was CNN; 3) The room I was in faced east and the curtains to the window were too narrow (and also too thin) for the window's width. Consequently, the room took the full blast of the early morning sun at 06:00 hrs. making the room very light at this early hour.

The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, and our room had a lovely sunny balcony, all within a short 10-minute walk from the city center.
